Dad Awarded Australian Honour

It is with Great Pride and excitment that I share with you all, our friends and family through Art. Dad (Kevin Hill) received the News on Australia Day that he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM)

He was very Humbled by this award and really excited that by doing what he loves has had such an impact on so many peoples lives.

Congratulations Dad, and Thank You to all who have  supported Kevin over the years.

Chairman, Sister Cities Australia (formerly Australian Sister Cities Association), 1988- 2007; Treasurer, 1987-1998; Life Member, since 2005. Founding Member and Chairman, Bankstown Sister City Committee, 1987-2008. Member, Honorary Board, Sister Cities International, since 2007.

Chairman, Bankstown City Aged Care, since 1990; Director, since 1984. Chairman, Management Committee, Bankstown Senior Citizen Centre, 2008. Justice of the Peace, 1977-2007. President, Chullora School Parents and Citizens, 1973-1983; Member, 1971-1983. Member, Chullora Wolves Soccer Club, since 1972; Manager, Under 7s, 1972-1979; Publicity Officer, 1974; Life Member, current.

Founder and Owner, K&C Agencies Pty Ltd (trading as Kevin Hill's Top Ten' Australian Artists), since 1980. Fundraising for a range of organisations through art and memorabilia auctions, including Steve Waugh Udayan Children's Fund, Careflight, Rotary Club of Tamworth West, and Bankstown Frail Aged Care.

Awards and recognition include: Recipient, Eisenhower Medal, Sister Cities International, 2000.
